Year 11
In Year 11 students will be building on their previous two years of GCSE study and preparing for their exams. In addition to regular focus on exam skills and practising example questions, they will continue to learn language across all the specification areas.
Students are following the new AQA GCSE specification, which is graded using the new numerical Grades 9 - 1. The four skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing) are assessed in exams only at the end of the course, with each skill counting for 25%.
