Students are encouraged to focus on individual topics during each revision session and ensure their revision is active. This means creating revision resources such as mind maps and flash cards.
To encourage good revision practice, students have been provided with a “PIXL Revisit” booklet, which allows them to revise a number of key topics alongside a timetable that is set out weekly on “Show My Homework”. These tasks encourage students to use a range of skills, such as condensing their understanding into a small writing space or creating visualisations of their understanding through diagrams. Where students find revision techniques work for them, they should be encouraged to use these techniques as part of their general revision.
Revision Guides
Students have been provided with a revision guide and a text box to support with their revision. In the later stages of the course, students are also provided with a "PIXL Revisit" booklet which contains pre-defined resources to support with revision.
