On Monday, IDEK (I don’t even know) Theatre Company performed a careers choices production to Year 8 and 9 students.
CTS students who are part of The Brooke Weston Trust Combined Cadet Force held special assemblies for Remembrance Day. The cadets spoke about the importance of Remembrance Day and why we wear the poppy.
We are holding a joint mufti-day on Friday 17th November for Childen in Need and anti-bullying week. Minimum donation of £1 and students must wear something blue.
Corby Technical School recently visited Franklin's Gardens, home to the Northampton Saints as part of a Trust rugby trip.
The school are currently working with the ‘Imagine a day’ project team from the University of Northampton to help strengthen bonds with local universities to raise students’ aspirations and awareness of the opportunities that exist within higher education and beyond.
Corby Technical School students received berets and awards at a ceremony held by the Brooke Weston Trust Combined Cadet Force. The event comprised a Remembrance ceremony and parade. It was attended by parents and Trust leaders, including CEO, Dr Andrew Campbell.
A group of Year 12 students are taking part in the Engineering in Education Scheme run by the Engineering Development Trust.
A week full of exciting events was held to welcome new Year 7 students to Corby Technical school.
This year, we are once again encouraging our students to take part in a work placement with the help of Timely Advice. Each week we have been posting a case study of some of our students who took part in a placement last year to help other students see what opportunities there are and give them an insight into the kinds of things they could get involved in.
