In Year 12 students will choose to take the OCR A-level in Physics. The course is the OCR A specification (H556).

The teaching and learning is delivered in a flexible approach where the specification is divided into topics, each covering different key concepts of physics. As you progress through the course, you’ll build on your knowledge of the laws of physics, applying your understanding to areas from sub-atomic particles to the entire universe. An A-level in Physics is a desirable qualification that demonstrates a high level competency. Students achieving A-levels in Physics can be applied to many professions ranging from Formula 1 Aerodynamicists to Senior Management executives.
